Bamboo, cork core, thick base felt, thick German felt outer cover soft. Very warm sound and easy to roll with.

Soft German felt thick covering soft stick with 2.5mm base felt on 1.5” x ½” cork core.  Formerly known as the BC1 this has become a real standard in many professional timpanists’ arsenal. Facilitates extremely loud playing without the core cutting through too much and will not distort the pitch.  Perfect for the intro of New England Triptych and Shostakovich 1 cadenza.
