Freer Percussion C-H1 Hornwood on Carbon Fiber

Unique hornwood core on gradually tapered carbon fiber shafts. Very limited edition.

These were made from some ten year old KH1 hornwood mallets that were off spec. They somehow missed a step in the CNC process and came out a little less convex than the program was supposed to cut. However, they are extremely well made and have turned out to be excellent timpani mallet heads for a wood stick.
