Freer Percussion K14 Small Blue Delrin/Brass Insert

1” blue delrin ball with large brass insert on rattan shaft. These fit nicely between K10 and K11 on the hardness scale.

Rattan shaft 7.5mm thick ( + or – due to natural taper of rattan ) and 13.5” long.

This has become a “tweener” model. It fits between K10 and K11 perfectly but was developed many years after. Not as bright as the K10 and not as mellow as K11, but at the same weight. A lot of punch and clarity to it and slightly less bright than the K15 model when played loud. A very unique character good for all glockenspiel parts, xylophone and crotales as well.
