Malletech Concerto Series Marimba Mallets CN4
The six models of the Concerto Series were designed specifically for players looking for a heavier mallet with a big sound that will project through a large ensemble, but who donāt want the contact noise thatās usually associated with this type of mallet. Compared to standard, traditional mallets of similar hardness, the player will immediately notice proportionally more fundamental tone and greater volume. While many synthetic yarns suffer from high-pitched ātick,ā this yarn is very quiet on the attack, while exceeding the durability and abrasion resistance of nylon. Some sets of Concerto mallets made in the 1980s and 1990s are still in use ā and still not fraying!
SINGLE-TONED ā BURGUNDY
Model CN4 is a wide-range, soft mallet that is unusually rich in the bass, without being āthumpyā in the upper range.
